Parenting has been a wonderful experience thus far. First words and first steps are emotional benchmarks that defy accurate description. However, when a son shows interest in a parent's passion the word proud does not even begin to describe it.It's no secret to friends and family that four boys and a girl are a water oriented family. No surprise there given that the senior boy and girl met on a dive boat in Key West, Florida. So when boy number 2 opted to join dad mom on a snorkel with a 40 ft whale shark it was a momentous occasion. Of course mom and dad haven't been shy about their 4 year old's exploits either.
Boy number 3 although not yet completely water safe refuses to be outdone by his older brother. I suspect mom and dad will be buying him snorkeling gear this summer. At this rate they'll be swimming circles around mom and dad in no time! Yep, you might say we're a a bit proud!
